Carmen Electra joins cast of made-in-Edmonton movie

Baywatch star Carmen Electra has joined the cast of the movie Christmas in Wonderland being filmed at the sprawling shopping centre in Alberta's capital. Electra is perhaps best known for her role as lifeguard Lani McKenzie in the popular fun-in-the-sun TV series.
But she has also appeared in at least three dozen films, including Scary Movie, Starsky and Hutch and Cheaper by the Dozen 2.
She joins Dirty Dancing and Ghost star Patrick Swayze in the movie about a family's Christmas caper after they move to Canada from Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old Electra first made waves in Playboy magazine before taking over from another buxom blond - Canada's Pamela Anderson - on the syndicated hit Baywatch in 1997-98.
